It's Vicky's 60th birthday coming up, so we decided we would head out to enjoy some sun in Seville. We are going away with Andrew and Sam to celebrate this big event in style.

Woke at 3am and 5am this morning. We stayed up until almost 10pm watching the US Open tennis - Agassi beating Baghdatis in the last set.

A better night’s sleep was had by all - we are slowly dealing with the jet lag. This morning we grabbed an early breakfast and then were on the road by 6:20am, missing most of the rush hour traffic, headed for the border and then on to Seattle.

Slept very badly. Woke at 12:30am, 2am and then again at 3am. Dozed until 6am and then decided to get up. Vick was still snoring!

In Aug 2006 we explored the west coast of the US, starting in Vancouver, down over the border to Seattle, down the Pacific Coast Highway, to Los Angeles, over to the Grand Canyon and finished off at Las Vegas.
